Just a quick hello on this lovely Wednesday!

I decided to keep things casual today so I opted for a racer-back tank top accompanied by a crop jacket -which I have restyled many times! The leopard print of the shoes and the stripes in the shirt give the outfit charm, while the bright, R & J bag (which I have also restyled many times) and the dangling, earrings add charm and character.

I hope you are doing well! I apologize for making this short, but this week has been a crazy one! Very busy and I feel like I have been working non-stop!

It has been kind of dreary this weekend which was actually somewhat nice. It was a great weekend to just kick back and relax -I binge watched Scandal on Netflix!

Today I went for a comfy, chic look in a warm, leopard print, Forever 21 sweater and faux leather, Forever 21 skirt. I really enjoy this look. Its comfy meets glam. It is perfect for the on-going transition into cooler weather.

My friend Jennifer was not crazy about this outfit, but it is one I really like. I appreciate the input and help and it just goes to show that style is very relevant. What one person likes another may not. That does not necessarily mean it is bad. It is really finding/pairing pieces that suit your personality and makes you feel confident.

Ending this week on a positive note and with another fun, fall outfit.

Today I kept the outfit simple and let the accessories do all of the talking! The print of the scarf is amazing and catches the eye. The details of the trench coat add a fun and feminine touches to the ensemble.

The coat is also kind of light-weight so it is perfect for a busy day. I wore it to a small blogging meeting earlier this week. It was a successful meeting, I think. We were able to talk and bounce ideas off of one another.

One of the best parts of the meeting -my first pumpkin spice latte of the season! Yet one more thing to love about fall! =)

Hello all! =)

Since today is the first official day of fall I decided to go for a more relaxed, autumn inspired outfit.

I chose to stick with a more neutral color palette. I adore the olive colored pants. Actually funny story, my sister had them first and I kept noticing them and envisioning great looks I could create with them (not that her looks were bad, we just have different styles.) I finally had to find myself my own pair. But I am so glad I did!

I love how the bag stands out against the neutral colors of the ensemble. Personally I think it is what anchors the look.

Plus nothing screams fall quite like plaid! =)

I spent Saturday with my family and friends and of course working in a few blog shoots with my good friend and photographer, Jen!

Today I chose a asymmetrical slit skirt from one of my favorite places -Versona! I love the dramatic white strip that defines the skirt. It is elegant and stunning!

I broke out my strappy Mossimo heels for (possibly) the last time this season! I just love this look. I felt amazing in this outfit!

Wow this has been a busy week already! And I felt as though I have really had a great week so far (knock on wood!)

 Today I went with a simple yet effective pairing; I paired a simple white blouse (Versona) with black skinny jeans, black pumps, and a black fedora (Versona).

I chose to add a little extra color with my maroon bag (Forever 21).

There is something so elegant and understated about this combination. It is a timeless pairing and yet -as I mentioned earlier- so simple! I love it!

Jennifer and I worked this quick shoot in after a long day. I appreciate her help so very much! I always enjoy working with her -she really has a great eye for photography! I am so grateful that she is willing to help me with posts!!

Good Morning and Happy Monday!

I had a really nice but busy weekend, and can finally enjoy a day off. So I decided to kick off this week with a fun, polished look.

I found and fell in love with this crisp, white trench vest from Target ($30! Not bad at all!) The day I saw it I was actually there with a mission -find a new bra. It took every bit of strength in me to not wander over and try on the vest but I succeeded!.. -that day at least.

Two days later I found myself still thinking of it,  creating dream ensembles with the piece in my mind -perhaps a little sad I realize but sometimes a great piece will do that to you! I snatched it up and even got one in black as well!

I really appreciate the way it ties this particular ensemble together. It stands out perfectly against the darker hues of the Converse blouse and the navy skirt. It adds a feminine, fun twist on an otherwise safe, basic outfit.

Sometimes I like to pair contrasting pieces together. But today I decided to do something a little different. With this polished, crisp look, I decided to go with a messier up-do hair style. I think it adds a nice touch and it is fun to change things up a little bit!

I hope you are having a great weekend! Mine has been very nice!

Today was the first day that the weather has been significantly cooler! And while, yes, I know I maybe jumping the gun a bit I could not resist breaking out my peacoat!

I paired it with a cool, breezy, Forever 21 striped dress -which I have restyled many times- to offset the heaviness of the coat. I personally love the mixing of patterns that is created here.

It is a high-end fashion look without breaking the bank!

Gorgeous day today in the QC! But still hot! (Although I hear that could change very soon!) I am still dressing for the fall transition.

I have always loved this blue, lace Forever 21 dress. Its easy to style, gorgeous, flirty.. what is not to love? I have found it is also fun to experiment with. It can be styled a variety of different ways. Today I decided to pair it with a more masculine piece; a Versona, utilitarian, twill jacket.

It is very comfortable. I like the look that is created when you mix feminine pieces -the blue dress- and masculine pieces -the jacket. It is a unique look and shape. Plus I love the way the colors look together, I don't know why exactly but even as I was buying the jacket I had this dress in mind.

Besides the jacket is a timeless piece that can be restyled and is extremely versatile! =)

I incorporated a Versona belt as well. I have had my eye on this belt for a while now and finally caved in and grabbed it! The red plus the leopard print -you cannot go wrong with that color and that print!

I hope everyone is enjoying this long weekend and having some good food!

Fashion wise I feel as though we are in this odd transitional phase; labor day typically is the end of the summer season yet it has not begun to get cool enough to break out the sweaters and boots just yet.

It can make dress a little tricky during this time.

My solution? Combine pieces from the two seasons. I paired a navy LOFT sweater over a summery, billowy, GAP blouse. Its breezy enough to be comfortable while out during the day. The darker hues and the plaid Old Navy bag are great staple pieces for fall.

I have had my eyes open for a great bag for a while now and I have come across several nice ones but none of them seemed right for me. But this plaid bag, oh man... there was no hesitating when I saw it! I am eager to really break it in later in the fall season! =)
