Good Morning and Happy Monday!
I had a really nice but busy weekend, and can finally enjoy a day off. So I decided to kick off this week with a fun, polished look.
I found and fell in love with this crisp, white trench vest from Target ($30! Not bad at all!) The day I saw it I was actually there with a mission -find a new bra. It took every bit of strength in me to not wander over and try on the vest but I succeeded!.. -that day at least.
Two days later I found myself still thinking of it, creating dream ensembles with the piece in my mind -perhaps a little sad I realize but sometimes a great piece will do that to you! I snatched it up and even got one in black as well!
I really appreciate the way it ties this particular ensemble together. It stands out perfectly against the darker hues of the Converse blouse and the navy skirt. It adds a feminine, fun twist on an otherwise safe, basic outfit.
Sometimes I like to pair contrasting pieces together. But today I decided to do something a little different. With this polished, crisp look, I decided to go with a messier up-do hair style. I think it adds a nice touch and it is fun to change things up a little bit!
