Its Hump day! Thank goodness!

I hope your week is going well!

Today I decided to play with patterns. I paired a Francesca's striped skirt with a floral, GAP tank top. I love this look! It is fun, summery, and the mixing of patterns is fresh and has a whimsical feel.

I wanted to keep the accessories in the same color family as the rest of the outfit (deep, purple Versona clutch, and white heels). I did not want them to compete with the rest of the ensemble.

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you have a great day! =) XOXO

Hello and Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a great weekend, I did! I treated myself to some shopping this weekend!

I have been looking for a pair of white jeans for sometime. I suppose part of me has  been a little hesitant, white is hard to keep clean bMiut I have always loved the look of white jeans! There is something so fresh and crisp. It can really elevate an outfit!

This outfit for example!

I paired a basic graphic t-shirt and Versona chambray as well as Anne Michelle heels. It is the perfect combination of casual-meets-polished and it looks effortless! =)

Thank you for reading and have a great day! Xoxo

Happy Friday everyone!

I am ready for the weekend, how about you? So I decided to keep things simple and casual by pairing black skinny jeans with a looser fitting, pink, Elle blouse. I have had this top for a while and restyled it many times.

I love this top! The crisp pink color makes me feel happy and feminine. The ruffle details give it a flirty vibe. The looser fit makes it very forgiving and flattering.

I especially enjoy it with skinny jeans -tough yet feminine pieces mixing perfectly. I opted to give it a more sophisticated look by throwing a blazer over the blouse, and white pumps for additional chic! =)

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a great day and weekend! =)

Hello and welcome!

Today I am excited and nervous to share with you some pictures from inside my home! -Please be nice! Hah!  I was feeling creative so I decided to play around with different angles, shots, and lighting. I was pleased with the results overall. I hope you are too!

For today's post I used a Rebel Sugar graphic tee to dress down a sheer, pleated midi skirt. The Hollister skirt has a whimsical nature about it, which is what initially attracted me to it. I opted for a dramatic, statement necklace to accessorize the ensemble.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the pictures! =)

  • We are kicking off another great week!

Today I played with stripes! I was mixing and matching different pieces in my closet and this combo really got my attention!

I like to mix patterns but this time it is the same pattern! I love that it actually looks like it could be one piece (it is actually a dress with a skirt over top!) All of the colors stay within the same family -navy blue, white and grey.

I paired it with a statement, collared, layered necklace but I decided to keep the accessories simple, carrying a red Versona clutch for an additional dash of color.

Simple, polished, pulled together. It is a great summer ensemble!

Thanks for reading! Hope you are having a great day! =) xoxo

Hello! Hope you are having a great Sunday so far!

I missed a post on Friday -I apologize for that! This week has been a little busier than usual. But today I am making up for it by posting a two-in-one!

For the first ensemble I went for a more casual look; GAP boyfriend jeans, Xppeal heels, and detailed Sioni top. It is comfy, versatile, and perfect for a Sunday afternoon.

The second, for a dressier feel I paired a Forever21 faux leather, pleated skirt, a whimsical, patterned blouse, and strappy Versona heels. For a more professional look, I threw on a blazer to go along with it.

I hope you enjoy! Thanks for reading and have a great day! =)

Just dropping in to say a quick hello!

Hope you are having a great week so far!

For today's post I chose something simple and perfect for summer; a floral printed dress! This dress caught my eye one day and I am glad it did! It has been one of my favorite dresses. It is simple in design which can be refreshing sometimes.

The dramatic ruffle at the bottom is probably my favorite thing about the dress. It just adds charm and gives the dress a flirty summer vibe. =)

Thanks for reading! Have a great day!

Blush Trench Vest -A New Piece...

Happy Monday!

I am excited to share the latest addition to my closet -the blush trench vest! I have been seeing this piece styled various ways and loved it on other people and I stumbled upon it accidentally on my birthday shopping spree.

I quickly scooped it up and then promptly fell into a creative lull. Thus it hung in my closet for the longest. But this weekend I had a burst of creative energy it seems and found several ways to style it that I really like!

This particular look is so chic and polished, and the contrast in the blush color of the vest and the deep maroon color of the bag is very striking.

I have a feeling this piece will make many more appearances in the near future! =)

Hope you had a great weekend, and thanks for reading! =)

Happy Sunday!

Just wanted to drop in and say hello! Hope you are having a great weekend! For today I wanted to keep things casual with a graphic, band (The Who, for those who maybe interested) tee.

I have always had a place in my heart for this look. It is an easy, laid-back look. It is easy to dress up -like I did for this post- or dress down with a pair of flats.

I personally love the fringe on this particular tee! The additional touch of flair that it brings to the ensemble really elevates it in my opinion.

Thanks for reading and enjoy the day -its a pretty one! =)

One Top, Three Different Looks... =)

Hello! Happy Wednesday!

I am blogging to you from my parents' house today!

They are currently on vacation and I was recruited to dog-sit for them. But I don't really mind. They are the sweetest pups! =)

You may remember my Style Challenge, back in May. Where I did not spend any money on clothing or accessories for the whole month. I simply restyled pieces I already owned and offered my tips for styling and shopping. Well for today's blog I decided to go back to that theme. I opted to find three different ways to wear the same top.

The while Philosophy top is one of my favorite tops! It in itself is a statement and needs very little accessorizing. But.... since I was at my parents' house I could not help but go through some of my mom's things! She has an amazing eye for accessories in particular but also shoes, bags, and I found a few great pieces of clothing that are stunning! With her permission, of course, I incorporated several of these pieces to create three different looks.

The first is a casual look. I paired the top with Gap jeans, Chinese Laundry flats, a brown bag and statement necklace (courtesy of my mother). It is perfect for running errands while being stylish at the same time.
The second is a nighttime look; I ditched the jeans and flats and opted for sling back booties and plaid, Forever 21 shorts. Perfect for a girls night out -Magic Mike anyone?!- or a date night.

And finally the third is more of a business professional look. I the white top with a navy blue, Gap pencil skirt. This time I accessorized with a textured belt. The belt is one of the pieces my mom has had for a while and I have always loved!

Which look is your favorite!? Feel free to let me know! And thanks to my mom for letting me borrow her accessories! =)
