Hello all! Happy Monday!

I hope you are all having a great start to the week so far.

Just a quick post for today. I have had all of these pieces for a while, the dress is probably the newest piece. They are all simple in style -although I love the drape-y design of the trench vest and the sophistication of the bag- but when combined together they really create a high impact look.

Its chic and perfect for date nights or girls night out or brunch!

Funny enough, this entire look -minus the shoes- is Forever 21. I didn't realize it until I was writing this post!

Thank you for reading!

XOXO

Hello and Happy Friday!

Okay, I was a little misleading with this title. I'm not actually blonde, but I DO feel like this is the kind of outfit Elle Woods would certainly embrace! I read an article where Reese Witherspoon talked about why she wanted to play the character of Elle Woods. She refered to Elle as "very strong and driven." And, if you watch the movie, that is true. She went to Harvard for a guy, but worked hard and continued to work hard even when it wasn't easy.

Something about that makes me reflect. Of course its just a movie, but in life we always have obstacles that are challenging and sometimes they are exciting, sometimes they are scary/hard. But the point is to not give up on what it is you are working towards.

On to the fashion! Today I am styling a great dress from K LA Boutique. I was in love with the sleeves, they really make the dress great! That extra detail adds so much character to the look. I tried to keep everything else relatively simple -minus the necklace, I know it is bold but it works so well with this look!

Check it out and let me know what you think! Also, don't give up on what you are working towards! ;)

Thanks for reading!

Hello and Happy Monday!

Today I want to share with you a fun adventure my mom and I went on a few weeks ago! I know I am a little late sharing, but I still wanted to share this with you.

My mom had heard about this exhibit at the Mint Museum that was a collection of designer gowns and fabulous fashions on the radio and told me about it. So two weeks ago we set out in search of this glamour!

It was great evening from start to finish. We started with dinner and wine and then headed to the museum.

The gowns were unbelievable! So many different styles, cuts, designs, textures, fabrics... and even a suit worn by our own Cam Newton -complete with diamond studded loafers! There was a dress that was worn by Michelle Obama and designed by Jason Wu. Apparently Jason Wu was a design student when he created this gown that Michelle Obama picked. How cool is that!? He designed several gowns for her as well.

There was a wedding dress that was completely unconventional. It was floral printed with a high-low hem. Its a unique take on a wedding dress.

I posted some of my favorite designs below, check them out and let me know what you think!

Thanks for reading!

XOXO
