Hey all! Happy Friday and Happy New Year's Eve! 

Today is a pretty simple look. It is also a spin on a look I have worn before. It is the sweater over a dress look! I wore this once before with a a more fitted sweater and scarf. But today I decided to go with a chunkier knitted sweater over a drop hem dress. 

This dress has been one of my favorites for sometime! I can wear it all year round for the most part! For the winter I just pair it with these knee high boots and I have a great wintery/cozy look!

 Hello, Happy Friday, and Merry Christmas Eve! 

I shot this look earlier in the week and didn't really plan accordingly. I forgot that Christmas Eve falls on a Friday which is when I usually post. Guys, forgive me, the holidays and my days off have thrown off me off! But I really do love this look all the same. It is warm and cozy and great for running around picking up last minuet Christmas gifts! 

I have really been breaking in these Chuck Taylors! And they add such character to most looks! I have gotten a lot of compliments on them at work oddly enough! But I love them a lot with these wide legged, distressed jeans. It is a casual and effortless look. Then I also want to tell you all that I nailed an Instagram hack! I have been seeing reels where people mix and match button placements. So, the bottom buttons they will button with the loop diagonally above where they actually should be buttoned.... I hope that makes sense! Lol 

It results in a cropped look! Which is what I'm styling for you today!

Hello all and Happy Monday! 

This post is going out to my Aunt Sherry! She loaned me this fantastic fringe skirt and I had so much fun with it I decided it was worth a 3-way styling post! 

This has been one of my goals since I took that break over the summer, to find and share several ways to style different pieces. And I've been on quite the kick lately! 

The first look is a more fun/festive maybe a good New Years's look! The skirt is the center piece. The texture and fun of it is perfect for a New Year's Eve get together! 

For all of these looks the skirt is the main focus. For the second look, it is a much more casual statement. A graphic tee and a denim jacket. This is better suited for the spring, summer, or fall. But it still is a fun look! It is a different vibe from the first look and could be worn to many different places. You could even switch out the heels for sneakers or Chuck Taylors and have an even more verstaile look!

And finally, I paired it with a belt and a long blazer for a more sophisticated, stylish look. This could be for a work holiday party -if those are still going on- or it could also be for a New Year's get together, or even a girls night out! 

There was another look I thought of after I started this post, but stay tuned because it is coming!

Hello my friends! Happy Friday! 

I hope you are all well! 

Today I'm doing something that I am hoping to do more of in the new year. A three-way styling post! If you have been following me for a while you know my rule; if you cannot find at least three ways to wear it, it maybe either time to get rid of it or take it back. I TRY to live by this when it comes to shopping or cleaning out my closet. In any event, I wanted to share a 3 way sharing post with you today!

Today's feature; these cargo pants! I found them at Target a few years ago and they have served me so well! The first look you may have see before on the blog (first two looks actually). It is more of a summer time/fall look. A crop top with an oversized jacket -I love the way this looks together!  Now that we have moved into the wintery months, it maybe a little too chilly to wear now though. 

The second look is a warm and cozy look! An oversized/slouchy sweater paired with these cargo pants. There is also the same color theme going on which I really enjoy. The heels elevate it a bit. 

And finally the last one I may revisit in a post, because I love it so much! I also maybe wearing it to a Christmas dinner tonight. I love how warm and cozy it is and in particular I love the crossbody bag. I like the way the colors all work together

Hello and Happy Monday! 

Today's look is a pretty simple yet perfect holiday look! This skirt is yet another piece I picked up from my thrifting spree at Goodwill with my aunt a few weeks ago. 

This is the first time I have really styled it so far and even as I write this, I am thinking of other ways to style it! But this was my first idea. And I think that it is a pretty solid look for the holidays! It's simple, its sleek, and additionally it could be a good work look or look for Christmas services. 

Fun story about the shoes! I had a pair almost identical to these before. I had found that pair at Goodwill and they served me well for several years! But sadly, they came to their demise. But before I had to let them go, I made sure to write down the designer of the shoe. Later a googled it and found this pair and ordered them right away! In my excitement, I didn't pay attention to the size. I ordered the wrong size! D: But I tried them on anyway and they actually fit pretty well! 

I figure I can get some of the inserts to fill in any extra space. What do you guys think?

Hey friends! 

Happy Friday! It is another casual Friday post today and I'm restyling a favorite look with different pieces. It is a sweatshirt under a peacoat! I don't know why this look appeals to me so much. I think because it is so effortless and the layers really help with our winters here in the QC. Some mornings it can be ridiculously cold and then later warm up. That makes layering a must! 

But also this is just such a chill look. Comfortable, warm, great for Christmas shopping or running errands in general! 

This time a styled a tye-dye sweatshirt under the peacoat. Sometimes I have opted for leggings or regular blue jeans, but today I opted for distressed black jeans and chuck taylors! 

Most of the pieces in this post are restyled pieces, with the exception of the sweat shirt and the bag. Both were from Goodwill and both I love so much! Technically, I suppose they are also restyled! ;)

So today is two-way post! The first is a really casual look; same look but with a casual twist. That is the look with the denim jacket and the chuck taylors! 

This look is also fun! Same pieces just added the plush jacket and booties!

Hello and Happy Friday! 

So today, I created a look that is my go-to when I am short on time/in a rush.... as I was with this post lol. I spent Tuesday with my Aunt helping her with her move and grabbing some lunch -it was a great day. But I still needed blog pictures! And I wasn't crazy about the look I had planned on -which was basically this but with a sweater vest over top. 

Then I decided this look -without the sweater vest- would be perfect! It looks good, its effortless, and best of all it is perfect when you are in a crunch! I love the contrast between the crisp, white button down and the distressed jeans. And the bag is what really pulls it together in my opinion. It is casual but also structured. It is mostly light colored but the black on the sides really help it pop!
