Hello and Happy Monday! 

Today I am not only sharing with you a fun look but I am also experimenting with different venues! 

So there is this ladder that has been propped up against our house for the longest and for the longest I have been dying to use it in a post! 

Well... today was the day! I tried it out! And I loved how the pictures came out! 

Let's talk about this look though! It is so warm and cozy and so easy to wear! The colors all go together so well. The booties are one of my most favorite things I've gotten from Shein! They are so comfy and easy to style! 

The coat -my Aunt Sherry she talked me into it! Can you believe it?! -And by that I mean can you believe I almost passed it up!?  And I'm so glad she did! It  is just so stylish and warm! I swear it can be styled so many different ways! What  a great piece! 

Hello and Happy -belated- Thanksgiving!

Today I'm sharing with you a look that I have been planning for a while! For me, I love these colors; the golden/yellow, burnt orange, maroon. I love them especially during the fall season. It reminds me of what I love about fall -the changing colors of the leaves and the way the sun hits differently after the time change. 

This particular look only features the golden yellows, but the dress and the sweater are different shades of this color and it creates a nice contrast. Plus the white and blue flower pattern also help add an additional contrast -which personally I think really helps anchor the look!

Plus the sweater is full of texture and character. 

It is a cozy Thanksgiving look! Or it could be a romantic date night look! Either way I'm glad I am able to share it with you!

Hello and Happy Friday! 

Today I am sharing with you more from my fall thrifting spree! I spoke on a previous post about going to Goodwill with my Aunt and coming away with A LOT of good finds! 

Well, here are another two of my/our finds! 

I think I mentioned my Aunt came away with an owl lamp (and actually another four lamps? I'm not sure of number but they were a great deal!) an owl soap dispenser, work out pants, a coat and a scarf... there maybe more I'm not thinking of... ohhh a skirt! Maybe two actually! 

I came out with two sweatshirts, three skirts, and we decided to split this particular coat. 

It is SO cozy! SO perfect for the holidays! And actually even before the holidays! It could be worn with many different looks, in my opinion. It could be great with jeans or dress pants, a fancy dress, or even as I styled it with a wooly skirt! 

This skirt was the other Goodwill find. I mean you cannot go wrong with a midi skirt like this. Its great for so many different occasions! Next time I style it I'm going to try black tights under it, I think that could really up the look!

Hello and Happy Monday! 

So I'm still feeling pretty good, Saturday I had a little case of nerves but I was able to push past it -thankfully! Otherwise I've felt pretty good! Again, I'm so thankfully for my family and friends who either helped me out during my weird anxiety moment roughly two weeks ago and those who supported me in spirt or left kind words on my posts! I really don't know if you'll know how much it meant to me! And I will remember your kindness forever! 

On to today's post! I love this dress and this coat so much! I have plans for both of them, so be prepared to see them both in future posts! The dress is pretty neutral. The color can be matched with many things and its not overly dramatic -that ruffle at the end is the most. But that is what makes it interesting. You can wear it in the summer time or pair it -as I did- in the fall/winter with a coat and still get a fantastic look! 

The coat! Ooo I love this coat! It is a little oversized but I cannot get over the color blocking on this coat! That is what drew my eye! 

The chemistry of the two just works so well!

Hello and Happy Friday! 

It is finally starting to really feel like fall here in the QC! And I am LOVING it! This is my favorite time of year! October is actually my favorite month -I love Halloween!- November is good too though. I am not one of those people who goes right from Halloween to Christmas though. I love Thanksgiving and time in between. Although I do love the Jamie Lee Curtis memes I have been seeing this year! 

Anyway, on to today's look. I love this look for a few reasons; for one I like how the beige color ties it all together. From the turtleneck sweater, to the ruffle in the skirt, and the booties that color has a continuous theme. The other fun thing about this skirt is that it was thrifted! My Aunt and I hit up our local Goodwill and scored big time! I came out with three skirts and two sweatshirts, and some yoga pants. She found several lamps and an owl soap dispenser, a coat, a scarf, and some clothes as well. 

When we found this skirt my Aunt really pushed me to get it! (Granted she didn't have to push that hard, but I'm so glad she did!) But we had a great time and came away with some great purchases!

Hello and happy Friday! 

This is a bolder look than usual but hey, I am feeling more bold! 

​So I have spoken about my anxiety recently and while I am doing better, I'm not out of the woods. I am feeling better each day and I have a lot of people supporting me -that is so important! I am so very grateful for everyone who has been there for me!v

I'm feeling better and I'm stepping back out fashion wise. 

This look kind of represents how I feel -brave! Its a bold and brave look!

Hey friends! 

So this is not as much a fun post as it is a much more real post about this past week for me. Fashion wise, what I will say is that I came across this look on accident. I was trying to style  this look and then  suddenly I remembered my little dog was outside so I threw the sweater on -backwards- and went to let him in. I got to looking and actually liked the way it looked. You wouldn't necessarily know it was backwards! Plus the back detailing is kind of cool as well! 

On a more not so fun note. You guys. I have been struggling this week. Thursday in particular is when it started. My anxiety came to an all new point. I could not bring myself to drive home from work. I just kept getting waves of panic each time I tried. I literally cannot explain it! I have never had felt THIS level of anxiety before. My Aunt ended up coming to get me! And since then its been such a weird and frustrating feeling of how I will get home. More stress knowing I'm putting people out and trying to figure out how to go forward from here. 

I am so grateful for my family and friends that have helped me out, followed me to work and followed me home just to ease my mind, it sounds stupid but it meant more to me than you'll know. 

I had a doctor appointment today and told her about everything. She prescribed me a medication that should help with my anxiety. So that is good! 

But anxiety and mental health is no joke. It is something that needs to be talked about more! It is something many people struggle with and it comes in all different forms. For me -for whatever reason- driving has been it the last few days. It is slowly getting better but bear with me as I go forward.
