Just a quick post for today! 

Today I tried out an interesting combo -biker shorts and a white button down shirt. I'm not sure what made me decide to pair these two pieces but I really like the way it turned out. 

It is simple, yet chic and the red plaid bag really pops!

Good morning and Happy Friday! 

I hope you guys are all having a great week so far, I know I am! 

So, for today's post I am playing around with bright, bold, and beautiful colors. In particular, neon! The main focus of this blog is this beautiful print and very colorful scarf. Not too long ago, my Aunt, Mom, and I went to the Anna Sui exhibit at the Mint Museum. It was phenomenal! And I do still have a post coming about that. Hopefully over the weekend I can get some work done on it. While we were there, we stopped by the gift shop and my Aunt found this beautiful scarf which she was instantly sold on and then lent to me to use for this blog post! 

I wanted it to really stand out so, I kept the rest of the look pretty simple and muted. Shooting this look was kind of warm.  Not only are we moving into summer months, but it just rained HARD this morning, so it was a bit muggy when I was shooting. I had actually shot this look before but the pictures didn't come out great. I think it was the time of day and the light was not great. So, I retook them this morning -I like these much better! 

I decided to accessorize with strappy yellow neon heels from Target. I haven't worn these in a while, but I really love them. They are comfy and I love the color!  In keeping with the neon theme, I also chose a neon coral colored clutch which I got for my birthday last year from my Aunt! 

Overall, I really like this look. It is simple but fun! Thanks for my Aunt Sherry for loaning me the scarf for this post!

Hello and Happy Friday the 13th! 

I hope you all have a very spooky day! Although I hope it is a good day and not one filled with bad luck! 

For today's look I went with a semi structured look. It kind of reminds me of a 70's kind of look to be honest. I love the relaxed look of the white button up mixed with the structure of the blazer. 

The two paired with flared jeans elevates the look in my opinion. It adds a somewhat unexpected touch to the look. It keeps it fun and friendly.
