Hello! And happy -rainy- Monday! 

Well, its rainy here in the QC! And significantly cooler than it has been lately. I had a completely different look planed for today, but it was so cool today that I had to opt for something different. 

Today has been kind of a slow, mellow kind of day, so I decided to opt for comfort! I have had these slouchy, leopard print pants for a while now and I just love them to death! They are very comfy and easy to style. For a day like today, that is very handy. I just wanted something simple, I could throw on and go. 

With these pants plus the graphic tee, you have something effortless, fun, and versatile. I threw on a jacket to run some errands later on, and it only enhanced the look. 

I added a feathered necklace for a little more character.

Hello and Happy Friday! 

A quick post for today! I recently found this lovely vest at a thrift store, and it has quickly found a special place in my heart -and closet! =) 

I have always loved a good vest, I have had several come and -sadly- go. They add such a unique, polished charm to a look. I really appreciate the structure of this piece. I cannot wait to try different looks out with this vest. 

It is also incredibly versatile. Dressed down with flats or sandals, dressed up with skirts and heels, it adds sophistication for any look!

Hello and Happy Monday! 

I know its been a week! I haven't forgotten about you though! I just took a week off, to relax and focus. I'm so happy to be back though, because even though it was a great week, I felt like something was missing. 

So, I am happy to be back with this fun ensemble! Its different but intriguing. It was one of those looks that just came to me. I have had this dress -Forever21- for a long time now and it is one of my favorite pieces. The scarf I found recently on a shopping trip. I found it at Goodwill, of all places, and was instantly drawn to it. Between the electric color and the elephant print, I just had such plans for it! For me, it was an easy pairing; this scarf and dress. 

Which brings me to the second half of this post.

If I'm being honest, lately, I have felt creatively frustrated. I felt like I couldn't come up with anything new or interesting or fun. I took the week to just regroup, relax, and focus. I did some research, and reading -I found this great book called The Little Black Book of Style- and realized I am just overthinking everything! I feel like most women do. Which is why I want to share this post with you. 

The book stated -as did a lot of my research- that style is what really stands out to others. Following trends is alright, but finding styles or specific pieces that really speak to you and embodies you, is what truly sets you apart. I chose this particular look because its different. It is fun. It maybe leave some scratching their heads, but I love it. To me it embodies who I am.

TGIF!! 

I don't know about you, but I am SO excited for Friday this week! Today, was a bit cooler than the rest of the week, so I had to plan a look that would keep me warm but that still encompassed the spring spirit. 

It is a tricky transition period with temps. Although it is cooler, I don't want to bundle up too much because without fail I'll start running errands or moving around and heat up. My advice is light layers. Which brings us to today's look.

Edgy pieces -the dark hues, the moto-jacket, and studded Versona bag- combined with feminine colors -the scarf and  heels. Its the perfect combination. Its the perfect way to ring in spring, while cooler temps linger.
