I hope you are doing well today! It is just a quick post for today. 

I was really feeling this look of different shades of pink and maroon! This pastel and flower printed dress is a great for the spring and summer time! It is light, airy, and flows when you walk! I love it! 

The loafers were a great pairing and they compliment the colors in the dress perfectly!

Hey all!

Just a quick post for today! I am exhausted! 

Today I am sporting a simple look but one that I have been wanting to share for a while! 

This fleece jacet is SO warm and so cozy! The color was the ultimate selling point. And I had this idea in my head for a while but... ya know... the elbow happened and it too a while to get to it.

Hello and Happy Monday! 

How is everyone? I hope you all had a great weekend! This morning I had my follow up appointment with the orthopedic doctor and good news! Everything is healing properly! He was very impressed with my progress and even said that I was a model patient! I get to go back to work tomorrow with just a few restrictions. I'm so excited! While I probably needed this time to slow down, reflect, and heal, I am definitely ready to see everyone again! 

He wants me to continue to do my exercises to improve my range of motion and wants to see me back in three more weeks. I still have to sleep in the splint, which is unfortunate because it is super uncomfortable, but over all it was a good outcome! Maybe I can finally start posting blogs without the sling! 

On to today's look! I have been wanting to try this for a while. My mom actually found this flannel button down a while ago. I am not sure where, but I have always really liked it and wanted to find a way to style it. Since we are still in that awkward phase where it is not exactly cold but not always that warm -especially in the mornings- either. So, I went with this grunge look that has some 90's vibes to it. 

Its comfy and stylish and easy to wear!

Hello and Happy Friday! 

Ahhh to be young and not injured! I miss those days lol! This look was shot prior to fracturing my elbow and in the chaos I forgot to ever post them. So, when planning for this blog I happened to come across these pictures and decided lets go ahead and use them for today! 

So, what I love about this look is that it is chic and effortless. I can wear this look out while I'm just out and about during the day or to a lunch date or brunch! The layering is perfect for this time of year when it starts out chilly and then gets warm in the afternoons. And then with just a change of either the jeans -I was thinking a pair of leggings- and shoes -either sleek black boots or heels- you have a much more dressed up version for a date night or dinner! 

Since I did fracture my elbow, these converses have been a life saver! They are so comfortable! And since heels are about the last thing I want to wear right now, they are pretty much what I live in when I go out anywhere. 

What do you guys think? What is your simple, go-to look?

Hello all! And Happy Monday! 

​How are you!? I hope you enjoyed this gorgeous weekend! It did wonders for my mood for sure! 

Today is probably my most cozy look to date! These leggings I got a while back! I wear them mostly as pjs bottoms during the winter because I couldn't figure out how to style it for an appropriate outing look. I love them so much and I think they are so cute, which is why I've hung onto them for so long! But I know the print is a little... unusal lol. So, styling it has been a bit more of a challenge. I didn't really want to mix patterns because I just feel like it would be TOO much. 

Then on a shopping trip with my Aunt, I found this adorable -and super cozy- high/low hemmed sweater from Old Navy I think (but I got it from Goodwill) and the idea immediately popped into my head. This would look perfect with these leggings! So, I snatched it up right away! 

But it started to give me some more ideas for how to style these leggings. Two ideas off the top of my head are maybe a white or grey crop top with an oversized fit denim jacket and keds or sneakers. Or even I have an oversized shirt that might look cute tied up a little and paired with a cropped jacket and maybe a hat? I'm going to be playing around with these looks this week! So stay tuned! 

So, getting dressed is a little tricky these days because of my elbow! Which is why you're seeing more comfy posts lol. A little update, I am doing much better! As in the first pic, I can fully bend my elbow with no pain. I cannot fully straighten it and I am still supposed to remain in the splint/sling majority of the time. The sling mainly. The splint mostly if and when I'm able to go back to work and when I sleep. Pain overall hasn't been bad. Even from the start. Once they got it stabilized in the splint the pain decreased significantly! They don't cast elbow fractures -which I'm kind of glad to be honest. I was dreading that a bit. But you will probably be seeing the sling for a while still. Bear with me! =D

Hey all and Happy Friday! 

So this is my first post back since I fractured my elbow! What fun! 

So the pictures are not great but bear with me -I am working with one hand lol!

On the second night after I fractured my elbow, my aunt took me out! We went for a walk and we went to the Goodwill which is where this look was inspired. I found this super cute cropped jacket and this striped H&M shirt and I just knew I had to grab them! This was my first idea! But I can also pair both with distressed jeans and maybe even my cargo pants! 

I also was able to pick up a sweater and t-shirt -which I could also pair with my cropped jacket! 

As for my elbow, it is healing pretty well! I can bend it! I can't fully straighten it though. Certain movements hurt more than others but for the most part my splint and sling has really help make the pain MUCH more bearable. That first night and morning was awful! But ever since it hasn't been too bad. 

Thanks to all the nice people at Atrium who helped me out! I appreciate it!
