Hello and Happy Friday! 

I LOVE today's post! I for some reason, LOVE camo print! I think in particular I like it with these neon heels. I know that was my thought process in buying this dress. I had this combo in mind. 

Which made for an easy post today. I was able to keep this look very simple and very stylish. 

I used a chunky chain necklace and a ruched bag from Shein.com as accessories. 

And of course a jean jacket over the shoulders. You never know when you will need it, so it is always good to have a jacket or sweater handy!

The bracelets are a little hard to see in these pictures, but they were a bday gift from my Aunt and they say 'what you believe, you become.' I love that so much! I love it because it was a lovely gift and I love it because it is true! Your mind is a powerful thing and you can control your life just by changing the way you think. So I am going to be wearing these bracelets often, to remind me to think positively and look for the good in all situations! 

Thank you Aunt Sherry! Thank you Mom, Dad, and Kels! Thank you to everyone who reached out and wished me a happy bday! It was a special one and I really enjoyed it!

Well happy Friday! 

I'm sorry this post is coming so late! I had one ready and typed out last night, ready to post this morning before work and for some stupid reason when I saved it -I think the battery was low and about to shut off- but none of what I typed got saved!

Shit!!! (sorry mom and dad!)

The main focus of this post are these cool Nike sneakers that my sister got me for my birthday! I LOVE them! She actually got me a pair I want to say two Christmases ago? (Not sure of the time line but they held up amazingly.) But I guess I wore them in a little too much and a big hole was formed in one of the shoes, which subsequently rubbed a hole in my socks! 

And I'm a bit weird about my socks! Not SUPER weird, I just like cute socks. And sometimes those are hard to come by!

In all honesty I was too tired last night to stay up late re-doing it. I should have I suppose but sometimes you have to self care. Which brings me to something that I hate to say. I am going to be taking a break from blogging. I have two more blogs I am going to post and then I may take a little break. I'll explain more later!

Today's look is another summery look! This look is what I wore to a ladies night shopping event on Thursday night (minus the hat which I got AT the event.) 

So I wanted to share with you a few new accessories I styled with this look. First up, this cute Steve Madden back pack! It was a birthday gift from my Aunt Sherry! I had been looking for one for a while and what do ya know? She got me the cutest one! I knew right away several looks I wanted to style it with. This was one of them! It just goes together so perfectly! 

Next up this fedora from Nina's Boutique! It was one of the place Vikee and I stopped by on our ladies shopping event on Thursday. Its located in Birkdale Village.  The owner was so sweet and made a great drink! They were actually also celebrating their 1-year anniversary. I got this hat and a shirt, which you will see in a future post. I loved the vibe they had there in that store, I can't wait to go back and find some more deals! 

And finally, this chunky gold chain from Target. There isn't too much to say about it except that I have been into chains lately. That, and I liked the way it looked with this outfit.

Hello all! 

Just a quick post for today! I'm winding down birthday week, but not birthday month! 

I was able to pick up a few summery pieces from Target! This tube top is one of them! Can you believe I got it for only $5!? It was on sale. And I have already worn it a few ways. From this fun summer look, to a ladies night out tonight with Vikee, which I will talk about in a future post!

Also, there is a piece missing in this post that is usually there! What is it!? Can you guys figure it out!? Let me know if you can figure it out!

Hey guys and Happy Friday! 

I'm feeling MUCH! better! And I just went out last night with my good friend and blogging bestie, Vikee! We had dinner at this cool place called What the Fries? More on that later though! 

On to today's look! I wore this crop top at dinner last night, over a hot pink jumpsuit! But today I paired it with these Shein paper bag pants with a big ass bow. I'm a little divided on the bow. If I could find a way to tie it in a way where it would stay in place, I think I would like it better. 

However, I LOVE these two pieces together! Very simple but also very chic! 

The crop top was such a fun piece. I'm sure I've written about this before -probably when I got it- but a local boutique, Apricot Lane, was doing a give away for a grab bag type purchase on Instagram. I entered and I got a package of different pieces from them. It was in the height of the pandemic, so I wasn't going any place except work and that package was so fun to get. Plus not knowing what I was getting and figuring out how to style it all. It was a fun challenge! I would love it if they did something like that again! 

Also, I think this is the last of these strappy black heels. As much as I love them, I think their life span has run out. The heels are chipping, the straps are breaking... its just... its just time. :(

I'm going on a bday shopping spree soon, so maybe I'll find a new pair!? Wish me luck!

Hello and Happy Monday friends!

So I got my 2nd Covid shot yesterday and boy did it take me out! Yesterday evening I felt really feverish, I had a hard time sleeping, but it was this morning that was REALLY rough! I felt very nauseated and feverish most of the morning, my arm was extremely sore, and I was really tired. 

Yeah, it wasn't fun! 

That is why this blog is coming out kind of late today. I had no energy up until about 4:30. Now I feel pretty good. A little tired still, but otherwise back to normal. It was very much a roller coaster of a day! =D

On to this look! It is another Shein look! It was pretty easy to style. A effortless day dress that you can go get coffee in, run errands, grab lunch. You name it! I love the argyle print and the colors. The other piece to this is this cute little bag! I've been seeing other people styling this small bags and I wanted to give it a go. 

What I like most about it aside from the color -I LOVE the beautiful brown!- but also the ruching on it! That is a detail I have always appreciated! Its subtle but its so unique.

Hey all and Happy Friday! 

Bear with me for this post you guys! This was my day today (and for some insight I'm pet/plant sitting for my parents right now); I had to work at 7:30 to 6:30, I sped to an eye doctor appoint on my break. I got home ate dinner, let the dogs out/played bear with the little one for a bit and watered part of the indoor plants (thank the LORD it rained today so I didn't have to water ALL the plants.) 

By the time I took my pics it was close to 8:15pm! I've never shot this late before. The lighting was crazy weird. Thankfully I was able to get a few good shots. 

I kept it very simple, while incorporating two new Shein pieces. The oversized plaid shirt and the shades. I actually got one of these shirts before. Neither of these are actually shirts. They are a bit heavier than shirts, but they aren't really jackets either. I love the way it looks with these casual pieces. Its just so simple and yet stylish. 

The shades I also love! I finally decided to try the round shades and I really loved how they look, in particular with this look! It just screams chill. Which is exactly what I need after today! :D 

I have to run because I still have part 2 of the plants watering and a work out maybe!? Honestly prob just cuddling with my dogs and some OFFICE! :D
