I hope everyone is enjoying this long weekend and having some good food!
Fashion wise I feel as though we are in this odd transitional phase; labor day typically is the end of the summer season yet it has not begun to get cool enough to break out the sweaters and boots just yet.
It can make dress a little tricky during this time.
My solution? Combine pieces from the two seasons. I paired a navy LOFT sweater over a summery, billowy, GAP blouse. Its breezy enough to be comfortable while out during the day. The darker hues and the plaid Old Navy bag are great staple pieces for fall.
I have had my eyes open for a great bag for a while now and I have come across several nice ones but none of them seemed right for me. But this plaid bag, oh man... there was no hesitating when I saw it! I am eager to really break it in later in the fall season! =)
