Gorgeous day today in the QC! But still hot! (Although I hear that could change very soon!) I am still dressing for the fall transition.
I have always loved this blue, lace Forever 21 dress. Its easy to style, gorgeous, flirty.. what is not to love? I have found it is also fun to experiment with. It can be styled a variety of different ways. Today I decided to pair it with a more masculine piece; a Versona, utilitarian, twill jacket.
It is very comfortable. I like the look that is created when you mix feminine pieces -the blue dress- and masculine pieces -the jacket. It is a unique look and shape. Plus I love the way the colors look together, I don't know why exactly but even as I was buying the jacket I had this dress in mind.
Besides the jacket is a timeless piece that can be restyled and is extremely versatile! =)
I incorporated a Versona belt as well. I have had my eye on this belt for a while now and finally caved in and grabbed it! The red plus the leopard print -you cannot go wrong with that color and that print!
