Hello all! And Happy Monday!
Im happy to share today's post with you. mainly because it challenged me a bit. In all honesty I haven't been feeling myself lately. Hence the lack of posts. I have been feeling overwhelmed lately and not very creative.
But today I woke up feeling inspired and creative!
I spent most of yesterday putting outfits together, this was one of them. I loved the 'boss girl' look you get with this look. It incorporates some of my favorite pieces. This skirt, has been with me for several years now and has never let me down. I got it from Target in my early blogging days. It is such a dramatic piece. The blouse, sadly, will probably be retired after today. It also has served me well. It was a thrift shop find, and I love that it adds a casual feel to the over all look.
Actually in the last picture, the top button broke! :0 I noticed it in time and used the bag -yet another great piece! And more on it in a minuet!- to cover it and oddly enough, I liked the end results!
When I initially tried this pairing, my first thought as far as bags was either orange or red. To be fair, both did look great! But something this afternoon, when I took the pics, told me to try the striped, Versona bag. I tried. Put it back. Tried it. Tried it again. Something about it I really loved. It had my attention. The contrast between the stripes in the bag and the stripes in the skirt are beautifully, different enough to work.
I think fashion is relative. Style is personal! I love to see everyone's style! Go with your gut! If something speaks to you, go with it! Its you! =)
