This past week has been a busy one! Today felt so nice out so I decided that called for a breezy maxi skirt and tank top. The thing I really love about this look is how the the maxi blows in the wind. Combined with the particular print of the skirt, it has such a whimsical effect. I paired it with a statement belt to cinch the waist a bit.
I am really excited to share a photo story with you. This past week I was lucky enough to be a part of another photo shoot with Don Porter Photography. I worked with Don a few months before on a shoot for designer, Minh Le, and was thrilled when he emailed me about another shoot. This time there were several designers; Aubrey Busek, House of Lemond, and Rick Owens. I was excited to work with Zach -the wardrobe stylist- again. He is a great person! Very easy to get along with, inspiring, and funny! The first shoot, I was a little nervous at first, not knowing what to expect, but this go-round I felt like we were old friends. He has a great, distinct eye for fashion. He knows exactly what look he is going for. And although its not necessarily mainstream fashion, its always stunning!
I got to work with and chat with designer, Aubrey Busek as well during the course of the day. She is such a pleasure to work with! Not only are her designs gorgeous -and they really, really are!- but she is so pleasant, funny, and hard working. I was in awe of her designs -the white maxi dress in the pictures is by far my favorite piece!
One of the things I take away most from these shoots is the amount of time and effort that goes in to the pieces. There is so many intricate details to the pieces, I cannot imagine how much time and work is put in, but it pays off in every way possible with very stunning pieces.
Don was a pleasure as always, and dedicated to no end! Thank you so much for the opportunity, Don! I always love working with you!
I hope you enjoy, thanks so much for reading!!
XOXO
