Happy Monday!
I have three days off! All to myself! I'm unbelievably excited!! I'm hoping to get a lot of blogging done, cleaning done, and of course there is election night -cue the wine! Kidding! -Sort of.... lol
Today's outfit was an unexpected treat! I strive to stay productive on my days off, because I have more time to get things done. Sometimes it works out, sometimes I suppose I just need a lazy day. Anyway, I was attempting to create outfits and weed out unnecessary items. I chose these particular shorts because I was drawn to them at first sight. I had plans for them from the moment I tried them on. And bonus, they were on sale! (I think I paid maybe... $6 something for them.)
I have an ever failing love for leopard print, but these LOFT shorts have a touch of glam and elegance to them. I can see them paired with black hose/tights further on into the winter. But for now I chose to pair it with my LOVE for this trench vest. A few friends and family did not love the trench vest, but I saw something in it. I just knew I needed it in my life. In my wardrobe. And that investment has certainly paid off! I paired it with a Versona belt, a plain button down black top -a staple piece!- and layered necklaces.
Personally, I love the balance of leo-print on leo-print and the subtle hints of color! Cue the glam, sophistication, and an easy, fashionable,, breathable ensemble! =)
