Hello and Happy Monday!

It has been a bit of an interesting last four days here for me! I don't really want to get too into it but I've got a bit of time off from work! I'm feeling fine and using this time to work on content for the blog as well as really working on cleaning out my closet. I know, I know I do this a lot periodically. The thing about ADD? I usually give it up half way through. Have you heard the saying about a cluttered desk equals a cluttered mind? That is absolutely true for me. When my room is really cluttered -and I am embarrassed to say it has been the last few weeks- my mind is very hard to take hold of. I have so much I want to accomplish and no idea where to start. The way my ADD mind works, when I feel overwhelmed or don't know where to start I end up procrastinating -ironically I do that usually by trying to come up with a plan.

Anyway, I'm trying to look at this time off as a way to really buckle down and get a few things done that I have been putting off. Wish me luck! I'm off to a pretty good start!

Also its Christmas week!! How exciting is that! I'm just praying more than anything that my family is all healthy and able to be together and that my friends are also healthy, happy, and able to be with their families! This Christmas is definitely going to be one for the books!

On to today's look. It is my second Shein haul piece. This slouchy sweater is so cozy! I know I have others kind of similar, but I just love a cozy, knit sweater! They are warm, comfortable, and versatile. Plus they are loose fitting, which is great this time of year! >D  The idea to pair it with a pleated skirt came to me at night one night. I was laying in bed thinking about different ways to style it. And this idea popped in my head. The next day I paired it together and... well I was not completely sold on how it looked. It just did not look complete. I needed a belt to kind of separate the two pieces and give the look some structure.

What do you think? I think its a cute and warm holiday look! My plan is to post Friday, but if it goes awry I will either post Thursday or Saturday! If I don't post on Friday, Merry Christmas to you all! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!

XOXO
