I'm still really tired from the flight last night, so I'm just going to jump right into this post!
I wanted to share some of the places we ate at during out Seattle stay!
I'm starting out with my hands-down favorite -Dahlia Bakery! We went there Sunday morning for breakfast before we went exploring a bit, before my parents left for their cruise. They have the best avocado toast I have ever had!
I got that and a latte and enjoyed both thoroughly. The rest of my family got a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich which they all really enjoyed. We liked it so much, my sis and I went back the next day for brunch again.
Beginning at 11AM it becomes a shared space with another restaurant called, Serious Pie, and both are owned by the same guy. Apparently, it is home to a world famous coconut cream pie. We did not ever try that, but it looked really delicious!
Our first meal in Seattle was at Zeek's Pizza.
It was after our trip to the Space Needle, and I won't lie, I was DRAGGING. I guess the lack of sleep from the night before, the excitement from going to the Space Needle, and the time difference.
When we sat down for lunch at Zeek's it all hit me and I felt really tired during and after lunch.
But being tired did not stop me from fully enjoying lunch at Zeek's!
It felt like a mom-and-pop shop in the middle of a bustling city. The waitress was charming and very friendly. And the pizza was mouthwatering!
It had the right about of crunch to it! If that makes sense! It definitely did not taste like pizza at a restaurant chain!
The giant slice also came with a side salad. I got a Greek salad and both made for the perfect lunch before an afternoon of walking around and exploring. It was filling but not terribly heavy.
I highly recommend Zeek's if ever you find yourself in Seattle!
It was a beautiful place and very fancy! It was a French restaurant that connected with another hotel.
It was very good, but fair warning it is a bit on the pricey side.
I opted for the least expensive option, which was a chicken Caeser salad, which was good. But I do kind of wish I had opted for the fish and chips like my sister did!
But we could not leave Seattle without grabbing an original cup of coffee in a local coffee shop! The first cup I got in Seattle was at Ceres Roasting Company! I got another latte and sipped it with a cookie of sorts that my Mom got from the same place. It was delicious!
Thank you for reading and I will see you Friday, for another Seattle post! =D
