I hope you guys are hungry because today for my 'Out and About' series, I am spotlighting one of my favorite brunch places, First Watch!
I have shared a little bit about it before in another post where I highlighted three good brunch places (and I stanad by that still!) But this past Monday, I met a friend of mine for breakfast here at First Watch and decided it really needed its own post!

I have shared a little bit about it before in another post where I highlighted three good brunch places (and I stanad by that still!) But this past Monday, I met a friend of mine for breakfast here at First Watch and decided it really needed its own post!
Funny enough, I am not really a big breakfast person. I usually eat something light, like fruit or sometimes oatmeal with fruit mixed in.
But First Watch has some of the absolute best avocado toast that I've ever had! It is thick, multi grain toast piled high with avocado with some lemon juice lightly squeezed over top of it!
And that alone was the reason for our outing!
It got even better than just avocado toast, because they had a specialty toast which was avocado with crab meat and red onions!
I ate every bite and I have no regrets! =D
They had all kinds of specialty items that sounded amazing! Tacos al Pastor Hash! Bananas Foster French toast! Those two in particular sounded good to me!
They also had some great coffee selections!
I got there a few minuets before my friend Gretchen and the waitress, Christine was as sweet as she could be! She asked if I wanted anything while I waited. I could have asked for a minuet to look over the coffee menu, but no. In my signature awkward fashion, I panicked and asked for hot chocolate.
Christine brings out this mug, with a moutain of whipped cream and chocolate syrup on it! I think by my face, she could tell I was not expecting it and offered to redo it (like I said she was so kind!) I thanked her and assured her that it was fine. And it was!
It was delicious actually!

The atmosphere is another aspect of being at First Watch that I enjoy. It is definitely a great place for people watching! It is an open space with a rustic design theme. Gretchen and I were amused by their ceiling, which featured various styles of doors over part of the space!
If you have not been, it is definitely a place you want to check out!
It is open for breakfast, brunch, and lunch! And there are several locations to choose from!
