Off the Shoulder Drama: Denim Jacket, Slip Skirt...

Hello and Happy Monday! 

I wanted to start this week off strong! And that is exactly how I feel in this look -strong! And romantic! And feminine! 

I had been thinking about this styling for a while and was so happy when it actually worked out perfectly! 

This shopping center was a perfect place to shoot this look too! The color of the stones used on the buildings, the iron-rod railings with designs on them, the archways, the fountains -it all matched this romantic style theme perfectly! And it is huge!

I spent at least an hour shooting these pictures and I moved around three times in this shopping center! 

As for the styling itself, I really love this off-the-shoulder jacket! This is my second time styling it. It is such a unique piece! And I am still in awe at how well it wears! It just lays perfectly! I do not find myself tugging at it or readjusting it hardly ever. I wanted to dress it up a bit, hence the slip skirt. 

The denim against the satin skirt is an interesting combination. The jacket it where the strength theme comes in. 

I wanted to keep the accessories minimal, since the jacket and skirt are both pretty significant focal points. I wanted little shimmers of silver details. Thus, I have earrings, the chain belt, bag, and shoes.
