For months I have been brainstorming ways to change up my posts. To keep things interesting and to find fun ways to share styling tips with you. I have come up with several ideas which I may switch up from Sunday to Sunday, but I hope you enjoy them!
I call today's segment; Restyling 1, 2, 3... It was inspired by several magazine segments which show celebrities restyling the same piece three different times. It was also inspired by my rule of three; if you can find three ways to wear an item, then its a keeper. If you cannot, then it may not be a piece you want to invest in.
Today's piece is a billowy, LOFT sweater. I wore it in a recent post where I styled it with flared, distressed jeans for a casual but very chic look. I absolutely love this look. For the second, dressier look, I paired it with a rose-colored pencil skirt. I fell in love with the way the two pieces look together. The high cut of the sweater paired with the form fit of the skirt creates a unique silhouette. The bolder color of the skirt, enhances the look of the sweater. And each piece has a lot of texture and character. It is probably one my favorite looks.
For the third look, I paired the sweater with green skinny jeans and blush/nude colored heels. I love the color combination at work in this ensemble. They incorporate different aspects of my own personality. Feminine without being too girl, and tough without being masculine, Perfect for a woman on the go!
These are just three ways I have styled this sweater, but I am sure there are many other ways as well! What do you think? Feel free to comment and let me know which look you like best! =)
Have a great Sunday! Thanks for reading!
