Sometimes when I have a lot on my mind or when I feel particularly ambitious or excited about something I think it tends to come out in the way I dress.
Like today for example, I decided to kick the week off with a bolder ensemble. Toda I was playing with a number of things; textures, patterns, and colors.
I splurged on this pleated, striped skirt for my birthday. I loved it in the store (Francesca's). I was playing around with different pairings and tried of the lace Mossimo crop top and ended up loving the way it looked.
The denim jacket really pulls the ensemble together and at the same time keeps it casual -perfect for summer!
I opted for the leopard print heels, which I have restyled many times. I love the way it all looks together. The bold stripes and colors of the skirt are the obvious stand out piece, while the print of the shoes and the lace of the top compliment it nicely.
