Hey all! Happy Friday!
So today is another fun post for me! This sweater is another gift from the same good friend who gifted me the scarf in the previous post. I actually had a completely different idea for the sweater originally. And you will probably see it soon! But then I was cleaning out my closet and these two items fell together and... I just loved it! I loved it!
Now I used to have some heels that would absolutely match the sweater, which I wish I still had but sadly I do not. =(
I still think it worked out pretty well. But man those magenta heels would have sealed the deal!
Anyway. On an unrelated note I want to shout out my friends so much. They make me feel so loved and special and they are as equally loved and special to me! I think that is one of the biggest positives that came out of Covid for me. It really put things in perspective and made me appreciate these nursing friends of mine so much. We went at least a good three months where we could see each other -and I missed them so much! But I was in awe of how they gowned up/masked up/worked long ass hours and sweated just to keep these residents safe and to care for them. Now we are dealing with it again and the same people are stepping up and doing what they need to do. And also, its not just nursing staff. Everyone is helping. In particular the activity people! They are still helping facilitate visits for families in the midst of all of this chaos. Not only that but helping out the nursing staff when they can.
I'm just so happy I can work with this amazing group of people. It hasn't been easy for sure but I admire the hell out of all of my coworkers and friends.
All healthcare workers, I love and respect you so much. Please stay safe.
