This past Wednesday I was lucky enough to be able to attend a VIP personal shopping experience at South Park Mall. The event was hosted by Suzanne Libfraind. Suzanne is a personal shopper for South Park. As a personal shopper, she offers to meet you at the mall for a shopping session where she helps you pick out the most flattering shapes, colors, and designs for you. For your first session with her, you get a complimentary three hours free of cost!
This was my first time for an event like this, but it was clear that Suzanne went all out for it! She selected ten stores for us to go to over the course of the afternoon. At each store she had a handful of items selected to highlight for us. The whole experience was geared for the holidays; in particular gift ideas.
Each store was ready for us, with deals, drinks, food, and at a few places, gift cards! You certainly did feel like a VIP!
Today I am highlighting a few of my favorite places and pieces!
We started at Louis Vuitton where we sipped mimosas and laid eyes on some of the most carefully crafted pieces I've ever seen. From bags, to belts, to the sock shoe, to luggage Louis Vuitton never disappoints!
Next up was Tommy John! This store was impressive for several reasons. It has some of the softest underwear and camisoles I have ever felt! They also offer two pieces that I found to be very nice. A stay stuck undershirt, a shirt designed to stay tucked in no matter how much you move, due in part to a elastic hem and buttons at the bottom of the shirt. Lord knows how helpful that would be for me! Can we get women's shirts like that too please!? And Go-Anywhere pants. They look like dress pants but feel like sweats!
Bare Minerals showed us several great holiday gift ideas from mascaras, to eye shadows, to highlighters, and blushes... if I could take this store home with me I would! They generously gave us some free samples as well.
Trina Turk was possibly my hands down favorite place we stopped -maybe tied with Stuart Weitzman. I just love all of the beautiful designs they had there! I found tons of pieces I wanted just browsing around. They have been featured in a few fashion shows I've attended and I loved them then!
Johnny Was!....
...was what! That is what the store creators want people to ask! Based on a Bob Marley song, "Johnny was a Good Man," the bohemian themed store offers so many incredible pieces. A few of my favorites; a suede bucket bag, several beautiful necklaces, and an embellished bomber jacket!
Sur La Table was our next stop! They offered us some great hors d'Oeuvres and coffee while showing off some of their impressive gift ideas! From Miyabi knives, to quick and easy baking mixes, to The Smoking Box and Hand Held Smoker and even cooking classes! There are plenty of great gift ideas!
While these were my main favorites, we also made it to Stuart Weitzman, Vera Bradley, Athleta, and The Frye Company.
Overall it was a great experience! Suzanne was such a gracious host and definitely knew her stuff! I was certainly impressed with her and all of the stores we stopped at! I look forward to more events in the future! Suzanne, thank you so much! I hope to see you again soon! =)
Thank you so much for reading!
