It was organized and put together by the Fashion and Style Industry of Charlotte (led by my friend, Marie). It was a free event, and the proceeds all went to the Project Orange charity which funds MS research.
It was an amazing show! Several local designers and boutiques showcased some of their products and designs, all of which were stunning! Some even gave away some lovely prizes (which I gave out at the show!) The experience, for me, was one of a kind. I met so many talented and ambitious people! The energy was unreal!
It looked like a Hollywood event when I arrived at the show. People were gathered out front of the Gallery South End, chatting, waiting to grab their seats, or checking out local vendors who had set up shop outside. Backstage, models and designers were putting the final touches on the pieces they were showcasing. Marie was a busy lady that night, but she handled it so calmly -like a true professional!
All of the designs were outstanding. They ranged in styles but each had their own unique charm! There was vintage styled clothing by Moon Bloem, swim wear from Red Siren Swimwear, and a menswear line from the House of Lemond. There were three designs that I enjoyed in particular. Boho-tique showcased several looks that are perfect for summer. Flirty blouses, light-weight and effortless, off the shoulder dresses (one in particular I LOVE), and lots of prints!
Hux Style, also had some fantastic looks! These looks were very unique, they were menswear inspired pieces for women. They also seemed to mix vintage and modern elements together. I am definitely hoping to see more from this boutique soon!
And of course, Tygerian Lace! I love this line so much! Every piece was so bold! Clean lines, bold cuts, deep V-necks, flirty, lace dresses -everything was so detailed and chic!
The whole night was surreal to me. I am so blessed and happy to have been able to experience it! Congrats to all of the designers, boutiques, and models -you all did fantastic! And congrats to my friend, Marie for a great first show!
Thanks for reading!!
