This Saturday I was honored to be invited to a Sip and Style fashion event hosted by The Face Magazine. Let's start with the location. It was held in a multi million dollar home -which was stunning! It was three stories, four bedrooms, and it had a movie theater on the third floor! I have been to many events similar to this, but this was such a unique and cozy location. It felt like you were at a dinner party. It made mingling more comfortable, you felt as though you were part of a family from the moment you walked in.
We had plenty of time to chat and get to know one another. I met a lot of interesting people. Including the Editor-in-Chief, Heather Combs. She looked gorgeous in a white jumpsuit and was such a lovely host! We were treated to a cooking demonstration by Chef Chris Williams. We all looked on as he sliced peppers to perfection! The results? A mouthwatering dish of sauteed chicken and peppers over rice. Delicious!
The highlight of the night was the the fashion presentation by my friend and favorite designer, Tygerian Lace! She gave us a sneak peak of her spring line! If this was just the sneak peak, I cannot WAIT to see the whole line! Tygerian Burke, the designer behind Tygerian Lace, is such a creative lady! Her designs were outstanding! There was a maxi dress of black and white prints. There was an absolutely stunning maxi dress that was mostly sheer with floral details! How much more dramatic can you get? The whole presentation stuck with the theme of black, white, and red. Red, pants paired with a black and white blazer. Or A black and white printed pencil skirt paired with a sheer top adorned with the same flower details as the dress. Her creative mind blows me away! I am always excited to see what she has in store!
It was such a great night! And I'm so happy I was able to be a part of it! To The Face Magazine and Heather Combs, thank you for the invitation and opportunity to celebrate with you! To Tygerian Lace, congrats! I cannot wait to see what all you have in store and for being so kind and supportive!
Thank you so much for reading!
