Hello and Happy Monday to you all!

Today I wanted to kick the week off with a fun look. I recently found this sweater -and another for a total of $31- on Shein.com. I LOVE the choker collar style of this sweater. I may go back and get other colors as well, but for now, I'm loving this one! It goes with just about anything! Any colored jeans, skirts, shorts, and trousers.

That is why I chose this particular look. It was something a little different and fun. Plus there are subtle details that I love about both pieces -the sweater and the trousers. Of course the sweater is not quite as subtle, I love the design and the choker collar/cutout. But the trousers are fun as well. They have an eye-catching color which really accentuates the sweater. Plus, it has a little, leather stripe down the side -its hard to see in the pictures, and in actuality this look is better in person- but it really adds a little character to the piece.

Which is why I love this combo. They are different enough to work. The color of the trousers doesn't take away from the design of the sweater. But the subtle details are what I love. I always wonder, what was going through the designers mind at the time. It inspires me in many ways. I am a creative person, and these pieces just push my creativity. What inspires designers? What were they envisioning for the piece? Perhaps its overthinking, but -for me at least- it makes the journey more interesting!

I hope you enjoy! I cannot wait to show you more!

XOXO

What a great ensemble. For some reason it kind of reminds me of Jackie Kennedy at Hyannis or Martha's Vineyard , or wherever it was you'd see them sailing and vacationing. You look magazine worthy

In 2006 alone Energy Star saved consumers over $14 billion on their utility bills. Translated into greenhouse gas emissions, in 2006 it prevented greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to those from 25 million cars. An Energy Star rated device can save between 15-75% over comparable devices.
