Just a quick post for today!
I had been playing around with the idea of this look for a while. I found this vest of Shein -of course- and have been brain-storming edgy ways to style it. I had ideas of styling it over a baggy, graphic tee with shorts, or with a tank top and jeans. Maybe in the fall with combat boots?
Then I thought, why not just try it as a shirt?
To be honest, I hated the way it looked when I buttoned the vest all the way down and wore it as a shirt. So, then I decided, why not leave it unbuttoned a little? Turn it into a crop top of sorts!
That I liked! Not only does it create a bit of a sexier, edgy look, but it also makes the whole outfit a bit more ventilated!
I personally love the little hints of skin that come through. Between the buttoned vest, and the distressed holes in the jeans, it adds a touch of sexiness without being completely over the top.
Since the look is pretty simple in style, I took this opportunity to play around with pictures more.
I've shot on this stairwell before, almost exactly a year ago actually! And it still holds the same allure as it did a year ago! The iron railing and the brick, plus the way the light shines through the openings, it was the perfect aesthetic for this look!
I hope you enjoyed this post! And I will see you next week! Have a great weekend! =D
