First Look::
For today's post, I decided to do a double feature! I was experimenting with different pieces -this skirt in particular. I remember being instantly drawn to it in the store and just had to have it! The colors are bright and summery, the fit is flattering and feminine, and it is light and breathable -which is perfect since this week has been extremely hot/humid.
The periwinkle-colored, strappy, LOFT blouse adds a nice contrast of color. What I love about it is that it has such a delicate yet sexy feel to it.
I also took a chance with my choice of shoe. I wanted to show off my new Chinese Laundry heels! In the spirit of honesty I feel like I should say that I kind of cheated on my May Style Challenge with these bad boys! =X Not intentionally, I was desperately in need of new sandals, but it was a BOGO sale, so..... I really had no other choice..... right?! BUT I did not wear them out at all until.. well I actually haven't yet, I wore them for this particular post! =)

2nd Look::
I kept the same strappy, LOFT blouse but this time opted for brightly colored LOFT shorts, and my bright red, Chaus New York blazer!
I love the unique color blocking that this look creates. Its a little different and certainly out there but I really enjoy the youthful, playful energy it creates while still looking pulled together and sophisticated.
