Hello and Happy Monday my friends!
Today kicks off birthday week for me! I'm excited! It has been a wild year! A lot of ups and downs and one fractured elbow! But I really feel like I've grown a lot and learned a lot about myself. And I plan on treating myself this week! I'm going to do some shopping, practice some self-care, spend time with friends and family, relax, and of course get some blogging done in between! ;)
For today's look, I am continuing with my crop top summery theme! This look is a great summer look in my opinion. It combines several pieces that exude a summer vibe! The tie-dye, crop top for one, is light weight and breezy. It puts me in the mind of when I was a kid and tie-dying t-shirts in the spring or summer time. Either that or being at a jam band concert on a summer evening. Both sound nice and nostalgic!
Then you have the wedges! Wedges just scream summer! In my opinion, they are a summer staple. They are comfortable while also being strappy and open toed.
The pleather shorts are a little bit more on the warm side. The material on the inside is more insulated and I wouldn't necessarily recommend wearing out in the summer heat. Maybe for a lunch date or running errands -where you have AC! But the bright color really goes along well with the softer hues of the top. These are definitely one of my favorite pairs of shorts -my only gripe with them is that they don't have pockets! :(
And finally the backpack! I got this for a birthday last year I believe and it just fit this look so perfectly!
