Polka Dots and Pearls...

Hello!

It is a beautiful Sunday here in the QC!

Since it is supposed to be in the mid 60's today, I decided to go for a fun, causal look. I have had these polka dotted jeans for a while but sometimes I find them difficult to style. Don't get me wrong, I love them! I love the polka dots and I find them fun and daring but they can be a challenge to style.

So I decided with a top that was darker in color and simple in style to contrast the playfulness of the polka dots. It is the collar of the shirt that I love. The added color and the pearls that decorate it create a fun, flirty, feminine feel that does not compete with the jeans.

I added some bangle bracelets for accessories and carried a beloved Versona bag.

Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoy this beautiful day! :)

Mixing Patterns and Playing with Silhouettes...

Hello!

This post may leave some scratching their heads. I am not sure what came over me but for some reason every time I wear this printed, peplum top I always want to wear leopard print heels with it.

I cannot explain why. For some reason, despite that they are completely different patterns and do not share any of the same colors, I think they work well together.

So today I indulged this urge. I personally like it. It is a little out there but I like the way it looks. I feel like they work well together. I also played with silhouettes. I paired this peplum top with a slightly ruffled blazer.

I feel it is fun and creative in structure, color, and mix of prints. Yet it still maintains an ere of professionalism.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks for reading! :)

Enjoying This Warmer Weather...

Hello!

Happy Wednesday! It is all downhill from here! Today has been beautiful! It started out cold but became very pleasant.

It is making me excited for warmer weather! I know we still have a long way to go but for now this is nice. I chose a simple, black pallet and had some fun with accessories -all of which I have restyled a few times.

The leopard print scarf, the color block bag, and the red booties all work together to add charm and character to this simple ensemble. The faux leather moto jacket is relatively new and it has quickly become a staple item for me.

Its perfect for running errands because it is comfortable, fun, and stylish! -At least in my opinion!

I experimented with the pictures today, with lighting and angles! I hope you enjoy! I had a sweet little helper today too! She sneaked into the last pic! I love her so much! :)

Thanks for reading and enjoy the day!  :)

Hello! Happy Monday!

I have had this Max Studio shirt for a while but I don't wear it as much as I should! I love the design of it. The print has a 60's vibe that is fun. I love the sleeves!

The olive color of the skirt (Express) is comfortable and professional.

Thanks for reading!

Stay warm!

A Fun Pop of Color...

Just wanted to drop in and say hello!

Because today was a little bleak looking I decided to make it brighter myself with this bright green fitted dress.

Of course the design of this dress is one a I love. A staple piece in my opinion. It is flattering, the color is fun, and it has pockets! I consider it a power dress -a dress that I feel like I look good in and thus I feel unstoppable when I wear it.

I highly recommend finding yourself a 'power' outfit -whatever you feel amazing in- because it really does improve your mood and outlook. It sounds silly but I find it to be very true.

Thanks for reading!  Have a great Sunday! :)
