Hello and Happy Thursday! It is cold morning here in Charlotte today! On days like these -the high is 30 I think- I tend to like to keep clothing simple and use accessories to enhance or give it personality. Today I chose simple pieces and a simple color palette: a loose-fit, wool sweater from Gap and black skinny jeans. Warm and comfortable! I accessorized with a sage, green statement necklace (Sophie and Kate collection, as I have mention before I am obsessed with this collection!) I restyled the R and J bag once again, and leopard print, X-Appeal heels. Thanks for reading! Have a great day and stay warm! :) |

![]() Happy Tuesday! Hope the week is going well for everyone so far! Today I want to share my love for boyfriend jeans (this pair is from Gap -AND was on sale) with you! I love them! They are comfortable yet stylish and fun. I paired them with Wild Diva pointy-toed heels and a textured wrap vest from New York and Company. And of course the R and J bag that I have used many times. I love the look this creates. It is fun and sophisticated yet casual and comfortable all at the same time. I wore it to a church service the other day. Hope you are doing well! And as always, thank you for the support! :) ![]() Hello! Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I am so far. I had a great night with some friends yesterday and I spent today working on projects -including this! :) For this post I decided to try something a little different. Typically I gravitate towards simple or neutral pieces and use accessories to enhance those pieces. But for this post I decided to experiment with mixing and matching three bold pieces. The first is a Maison Coupe shirt. I love how it is unique in the colors, patterns, textures, and design. It is fun and eye catching. The second are the red Versona booties. They are surprisingly comfortable! I have worn them several times! And The third piece was the Street Level bag from Franchesca's. I fell in love with this bag because of its' unique design and cheerful color. The colors and patterns of the shirt allow me to be flexible in accessorizing. I went easy on jewelry for this post but I have since used statement pieces with jewelry to create different looks and ensembles. I hope you enjoyed! Thanks for reading! :) ![]() Happy New Year! Welcome to my blog on my own site! I will be posting on here this year! I hope everyone had a great night. I enjoy the company of some good friends, champagne, and live music. For the first post of 2015 I decided to go with this black and silver dress. I love the simplicity of the dress. It is simple and yet unique in so many ways. From the different textures used, to the design of the skirt, and the shape -it is flattering and very forgiving. It is also very versatile. It can easily be dressed up or down. For this post I chose to dress it up with Versona heels and bag. This year instead of making resolutions for the entire year, I decided I am going to make several smaller scale resolutions every month. I feel like, for me at least, that is more achievable and realistic. Some of mine are of course, to develop healthier habits, spend more time doing the things I love most, and I have several ideas on how to do more creative things with this blog. I cannot wait to share them with you! Feel free to share some of your resolutions if you want! I would love to hear them! Thanks for reading! :) |
