Dressing Up a Denim Dress...

Have you ever seen a dress that was cute albeit boring? 

Well, some say boring, I say a blank canvas ready to be styled! That is exactly how I feel about this denim dress. I was with a friend of mine recently and we saw this dress in Target and I was drawn to it! She was not as crazy about it. That led to me pointing out everything we passed that would look cute with the dress.  

As you can tell, I ended up leaving with the dress.

​Everyone has their own styles and preferences and that is what makes fashion and styling so fun! 

For me this dress, which could be seen as basic, has a great deal of potential styling wise. Today, I went a more casual route, with some red Addias, a printed scarf, and a straw bag. It is comfortable and will probably be a fit I take to Utah! 

This printed scarf is actually my mom's. Much like that coin belt she has, I have loved this scarf for a while and borrow it often!

This look encompasses several of my favorite styling techniques. It uses print, pops of color, and comfort! (Not really a technique but bonus points!) My Aunt has lovingly been concerned about my feet in those green heels, so I promised I would take it easy with them for the next few posts! xD
