Happy Hump Day!

How is the week treating you so far? Good I hope! I found some goodies at Loft recently!

These mustard colored trousers are one of those finds! They have a very comfortable, relaxed fit and are incredibly easy to pair. Today I chose a bright, orange button down for a fun yet put-together look.

I want to shout out to my good friend, Jennifer who played photographer today! We got some amazing shots and had fun in the process! I am looking forward to our future collaborations! =)

Thank you for reading! Have a great day! XOXO

Crisp Colors and Statement Pieces...

Happy Monday all!

I had some fun with statement pieces today and played around with three main colors to create a bold, eye catching ensemble.

The rose-pattern of the Monamie peplum top adds some texture while the hints of black -in the top, the belt, the clutch, and shoes- contrast perfectly with the all over white in the outfit.

The Versona statement belt serves as an anchor for the outfit. It defines my waist, which might otherwise be lost between the pattern of the blouse and the blazer.  The small amount of color-blocking that it provides really centers (for lack of a better word) the outfit and draws the eye.

I pulled it all together with the bright red, Chaus NY blazer, which I have restyled many times before and will continue to restyle -I LOVE this blazer! ;)

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy it and have a great day! =)

XOXO

Hello and I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!

My weekend has been very pleasant so far!

Today I was feeling very casual, relaxed, and experimental! I love these distressed, polka dot, Mossimo jeans!  To me they have such a youthful, carefree element to them. They have an interesting effect on me as well, I have found. They spark a creativity in me.

And paired with the GAP tank (which I just restyled in my last post!) I feel like this ensemble is one of those that is the embodiment of a carefree summer. Its' laid back, relaxed, fun, youthful, creative, and comfortable.

Have a great rest of the weekend! =)

Thanks for reading! xoxo!
