Good Monday to you guys!

I hope the weekend treated you well!

Today's look is a fun one! But shooting it was not! It was winnnnnnndy as hell that day! So, I had to wait for pauses in the wind so that my tripod would not blow over. It also wreaked havoc on my hair! So please be kind while reading this! Lol.

I have been wanting to pair these cow print Bermudas with this bright blue sweater for some time. I just knew the color combo would be perfect! And it is! What I did not bank on is how impactful the pops of orange would be in this look!

So, I had been telling a friend about wanting fingerless gloves, specifically in green or yellow. It became something of a joke between us, and then one day, he surprised me with a four pack of gloves! The colors they came in were neon yellow, green, purple, and orange!

I got to work right away styling them! This was my first look.

The gloves and the bag pop so beautifully against the blue and the cow print!

A Maximalist's Dream!

Happy Friday!

I want to kick the weekend off with a fun look. A maximalist's dream! It incorporates all of my favorites: layering, print, faux fur, statement pieces, fun accessories, and a pop of color!

Too much, you say? Well, as the saying goes, go find less!

This whole look makes me feel so powerful! Unstoppable! Fierce!

My creative side took full control, and I just let it!

I think that is why styling is such a deeply personal thing to me. Its so much more than just getting dressed. It is figuring out who you are and how you want to be seen. And with this look, I want to be seen! I want to have conversations with people. I want to inspire others to find their style and embrace it fully.

The look stemmed from my desire to pair the printed jacket with the lace dress. I was not exactly sure how I was going to accomplish that. Initially, I considered pairing it with the matching skirt -which I still may at some point- but I paired it with these jeans first and fell in love with the look. The fur bag just seemed like a natural choice.

A bold statement piece. A pop of color. And it contrasts beautifully with the blue hues.

Admittedly, the bucket hat was more out of necessity -my hair was a HOT mess that afternoon! But it works well with this look!

Black and White and Red all Over!

Hello all! And happy Friday!

Today is such a fun look! It is giving errands but make it couture!

It all stemmed from my desire to restyle this cute red, bubble hemmed skirt! I got it over the holidays and had a specific look in mind. But I want to get the most wear out of my clothes, so I have been looking for other ways to style it.

It was really a look that kind of built itself!

I knew I wanted to pair the fuzzy, black and white shirt with the skirt. And from there the details began to flood my brain.

I allowed the skirt and beret to do the real heavy lifting of the look. While adding in specific, cheeky, details. like the black and white belt, polka dot tights, heart printed socks, and heels.

It is those small details that really pack a punch! They take it from just an outfit to a LOOK!

These are the type of accessories I really like to invest in because they can be mixed and matched with other looks. The belt was found at a thrift shop! The tights and socks were from Target a year or two ago. The beret was also Target about three years ago.

A Lesson in Layering!

Hello all!

My NC friends, are we thawing out alright!?! Listen, I am not a huge fan of snow. It is pretty and all, and to be fair it was kind of fun to play in. But I really hate the mess it creates here. I am ready for the snow to be on its' way out.

BUT it did give me a chance to layer this stylish look! I have been wanting to style this look for a while, but in summer it is a little too hot to layer too much. Fall probably would have been okay, but I forgot to be honest, that is until the other night. I revisited this look.

Previously, I had planned to style it with a white and brown striped shirt, but I swapped it out with this striped Loft tee, and I actually like how the colors work a lot better. I opted for the cozy, cute, and very warm cheetah print coat -which was thrifted!- over top.

It also gave me another chance to style these loafers! They were a loft find as well. Loft has had some crazy good deals over the holidays and I indulged! But these loafers are so sophisticated and stylish! Oddly enough, initially I had some trouble styling them, I'm not sure why. I felt like I none of the looks I created with them looked THAT good. But finally, some ideas began coming together and working out!

I am certain you will be seeing them again!

Also, can we take a moment to check out this cutie pie clutch!?

I got it for Christmas from my friend Jen! It was a thrifted find, but it looks like it has magazine covers as part of the artwork on the top of the bag! And Beyonce is one of the pictures! =D

I am hoping to find a short chain to maybe attach to it somehow so I can also carry it as a shoulder bag.

Thank you all for reading!

I hope you enjoyed and I will see you Wednesday! =D
