An Unexpected Pairing for the Win!

Greetings friends! 

Happy Monday! I am crazy or did I end the last post by saying I would see you guys on Wednesday? Hah! Please excuse me! My brain was still scrambled from vacation mode and struggling to get back to my normal schedule! 

I still will see you on Wednesday with Part 1 of the my Utah vlog, I just forgot I would see you before then as well! xD

On to today's look! A look which saved my butt not too long ago! 

Believe it or not, I was a bit on the fence about this look when I initially shot it. I liked the color combos, and it was definitely comfortable, but was it really my favorite look? Not so much. I just did not feel as excited about posting it as I do about other looks -if that makes sense. 

But I always try to have a few extra looks on hand to use for posts in case for some reason, I am not able to take pictures for a bit. I.E. rain, work, vacation, brain fog, you get the idea. 

That is the case to today. However, my feelings about this look have change a lot! 

I had an event not too long ago and it was coming at the end of a loooooong workday. If I had not already committed to go, I would have definitely not gone! But I needed to think of something to wear. I was really aiming to NOT wear heals! Suddenly, this look popped into my head, and I put it on. 

Do you know how many compliments I got?! From my bag to my sweater, to my shoes! I was overwhelmed with love for this look! Which for some reason hit me right in the feelings that night! So, now, I share it with you! I hope you like it as well!
